Last week, Tappan students attended the Ann Arbor District Library's (AADL) presentation in the Auditorium about their wonderful summer activities that they provide for our students and the community. These are great ways to keep students engaged, reading, and having fun all summer long so that they prevent the infamous "summer slide." To add to the fun, Mr. Kipp (Tappan Librarian) created a game code for Tappan Middle School to be part of the public library's summer game program. Students can scan the attached code and earn points toward their AADL summer game prizes. Mr. Kipp also created a slide that includes information for students to play a fun SORA bingo game card where they can check the objectives off the list and redeem them for prizes when they return to Tappan for the start of next school year. Have a great summer, and play these games so that you keep reading, stay engaged, and earn fun prizes! |
